INGREDIENTS
 
  • 1 cup White Sesame Seeds
  • 0.5 cup Olive Oil
  • 0.13 teaspoon Sea Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Heat a large skillet on high heat and toast sesame seeds for about 3 minutes, while stirring constantly. Remove from heat once fragrant and golden brown. Pulse in a food processor until a sesame meal/flour is created. Add olive oil and salt, and blend until fully combined.
NOTES
White sesame seeds are best in this recipe because they are hulled, because unhulled (brown) sesame seeds can create a very bitter tahini. Any oil can be used in this recipe.
