GutRx Thai-Style Marinated Chicken Drumsticks

INGREDIENTS
- 2 teaspoon Fresh Ginger - grated
- 4 Green Onion - chopped (green part only
- 1 Cayenne Pepper - chopped
- 1 stalk Fresh Lemongrass - chopped (white part only
- 1 Lime - zest and juice
- 4 tablespoon Coconut Oil - melted
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 8 Chicken Drumstick
- 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric - fresh and grated
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the ginger, turmeric, green onions, chili pepper, lemongrass, lime, coconut oil, and salt in a blender and blend until liquefied.
- Place the chicken drumsticks in a plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Place in the refrigerator and marinate for 4 hours or, preferably, overnight.
- Heat the oven to 350ºF. Place the drumsticks in a roasting pan and place in the oven to cook for 45 minutes or until cooked through, to an internal temperature of 165ºF.
- Remove and serve while warm, or they can be taken cold to a picnic.
