  • 14 ounce Ground Beef
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 0.5 Red Pepper - diced
  • 0.5 Green Pepper - diced
  • 0.5 cup Olives - in brine or olive oil (no balsamic vinegar)
  • 6 slice Prosciutto
  • 6 Anchovies
  • 1 bunch Fresh Basil
  • 3 ounce Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Preheat the oven to 445ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the ground beef, egg, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well with your hands until all ingredients are well combined. Roll into a large ball, then place on the prepared baking sheet. Using your hands, flatten the beef mixture across the sheet until it covers it completely and is an even thickness. Place the sheet in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix the tomato sauce and tomato paste together. Remove the base from the oven. If there is some liquid on the sheet, pour it off before adding the toppings. Spread the tomato paste mixture across the base, then top with the red and green pepper, olives, prosciutto, anchovies, and parmesan (if using).
  • Return to the oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Remove from the oven, top with fresh basil leaves, and serve immediately.
