- 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil
- 0.13 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoon Tamari
- 1 medium Salmon Filet - (cooked with skin)
- To make the salmon candy, remove the salmon meat from a from cooked medium salmon. Toss with melted coconut oil, and season with salt. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to high broil, and line a small baking sheet with foil. Place skin with the scaled side up and broil for 8 minutes or until very crispy. Remove from oven and serve with tamari.
This way of preparing salmon skin is a great way to eat a nutritious snack, and not let food go to waste. We recommend using Thai Kitchen brand tamari, or any gluten free brand. Other garnishes include chopped green onion (green part only), and toasted sesame seeds.
