Korean Style Daikon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small Daikon Radish - peeled (about 1 ½- 2 cups chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Tamari
  • 2 teaspoon Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoon Mirin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Ginger - peeled
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Green Onion - chopped,green part only

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the daikon, chop the daikon into 1x1 inch pieces. Heat a medium sized skillet over medium-high heat. Toss in the daikon and all the remaining ingredients, except green onion.
  • Let the water cook off, and stir until sauce is thick and daikon is tender. Garnish with chopped green onion.

Notes

We recommend using Thai Kitchen brand gluten free tamari.
